I gaze upon
Majestic visions
Hidden secretly
For many centuries

I search the ruins
For explanation
but only encounter
deeper mysteries

Thoreau chased
The serene existence
Where at Walden
He did find it

Emerson found
A door in time
Wrote the Brahma
In it's rhythm

But will mankind
Ever survive
though passive
Meditation

Can man reach
His destiny
And finally fulfill
His expectations

Power itself
Is no easy task
You think it's luck
And so u laugh

But no amulet
Of gold or silver
Shall ever light
The chosen path

And no talisman
Of wood or lead
Will help ease
All of you pain

You will see
That in the end
Pain and sorrow
Will still remain

OnlyΒ Β with faith
In our Savior
Can we ever
Hope to attain

The very keys
Of eternal Life
And our release
From all our pain
