running from sunset into auroras light

dawn is surrendering on the tip of autumns plight

needlepoint stars retire their starlit bloom

the designation of winter, harkening soon

trees baring their skeleton bodies as the eve rolls up their sleeves

cool air ushered in by nightfall,
desolation of their golden frock of leaves

honoured with luxury of the royal papal

heavenly peels adorn the base of the Maple
