Grasping
Sigh and gasp,
Scream and bawl,
You cannot hide.
Cannot disguise,
The emptiness in,
You and your words.
If love or hate,
Were ever yours,
The world would have been.
Put on a pedestal,
With a struggling champion,
And a cracked base.
So sing and whisper,
Shudder and laugh,
It matters not to me.
