All it took was one look
To peek at the pages of your storybook

Words spoken "come here"
I knew I shouldn't dare

You held my face in your palm
Kissed my lips, and I was gone

But here we are now standing still
And I want to go back to feel fulfilled

The moments that took my breathe away
And I wanted you to want me to stay

Feeling the passion in your fingers
Listening to our breathing linger

All thats been unsaid
Lays in-between the sheets of your bed

Holding on to pieces of hope
How much more can we cope

Your wall is built too high
No promises have you written in our sky

I'm trying to reign back in
Let go and begin again

Seeing what could be
Not knowing if you'll let me
