He stumbled to the ground-
his eyes opened
Vast cosmos swirled overhead-
Reaching down and serenading him
comets dazzled in his eyes
vessels of his hopes
His satisfied breath matched the wind
Swirling, carrying his memories
Petals fell around him
Outlining his life
The man smiled
A beam of an eternity
He saw the world for as it is
The beauty in simplicity
A longing bird’s song
Performing for his lover
The pitter-patter of rain-
Bringing the rainbow
The moonlight-
Floating down to kiss the flowers
Their bloom-
Bringing the aromas of tranquility
There he lied
There he watched
Until the heavens opened
Delivering forever peace
