Love will not save you nor bring redemption
It’s for you to embark on such an adventure
Love will just stay there and try hold your hand
And it is not pretty if you like to pretend

You are despiteful, disgusting and ruthless
Love will challenge all that with incredible cruelness
Love will not let you hate yourself much
Without bringing tension in every touch

You will not find grace inside the love
That you share with others if your mental cove
Doesn’t want to be held almost at all
Accountable for things or have the power

To change its own course, blaming the outside
For the pain and the rage that it cannot hide
From, and the heart will say close to no whispers
If all that pride wants is emotional blisters

Love will not make you change yourself
That is up to you, and nobody else
Love will stay still, and tell you about
The things that are true that you say are not

It is never easy to stand front of it
And grief all the you that’s not used to it
But there’s nothing more that is in it’s power
Love is just patient and it does not cower

It’s not an oasis, just a sign in the sand
That tells you the way to such holy land.
