As the night approaches,
Who are you when it ends?
Who am I when it ends?

The sun appears once more.
Who are you attempting to be?
Pretender or sincere soul?
If you ask me, I'll settle for a flame untouched by falsehood.

I strive to be as truthful as I can.
I make some faults here and there, but at least I own them.

I hope you do too.
