Slumbered and nestled up in my bedroom dress

The Open Window calls to me, the brilliance of blue skies mesmerize

Cynicism melts away, as a warm mug of coffee brings nostalgia & hope

Opposite to the senses, the morning breathes cold & crisp, nipping naked ears

Caffeine floods veins of life, the third eye flutters open, irises flashing uniquely

I am christened by the early morning dew, mini flowers wear rain drops as hats

Gentle, invisible spider webs loom in the soft, unseen breeze

Pine's quirky scent registers igniting childhood wonder, (inviting pure freedom from then)

The cardinals chrip echoes of pomp and grace, resonating red display of feathers

A pinecone rests nice & neat, high above the canopy, just below the suns glory

Warmth of a furry friend rests underfoot as the Smoke slowly stirs my brain

Shuffled thoughts disassemble, I disassociate into the memories like climbing into a kaleidoscope...
