Its hard to hear your heart
When its just crying out for help
These swelling tears in circulation
Telling me to be myself.

And I could walk away,
Just waiting for the high road.
And I could talk all day,
About the lump that’s latched to my throat.

You wanna hear my heart?
It’s being muffled by your boots
Think its gone away, retaliate,
******, beating, on the move.

And I could walk away,
Just waiting for the high road.
And I could talk all day,
About the lump that’s latched to my throat.
