There are shadows
Everywhere.
They creep on the floors
And scale the walls.
They want an escape,
To hide in dark crevices,
Evade the light.
It hurts,
All the truths and realities
Makes it hard to see.
So they want to disappear,
Twist away
Entwined with our souls
To bury the darkness they bring.
In the black night
they hide.
But with the light, secrets
Are spilled,
Written out in the shadows.
Because when there is
Light
There are shadows.
