The Locked Drawer
Tucked away neatly
in a small compartment—
locked, sealed, and hidden by a key.
A morsel of sweetness,
devoured in darkness,
where no eyes can follow.
The shadow lingers,
heavy with fear
of what others might think.
Two souls tethered,
bound by silence,
tormented by secrecy.
