As I went out one day
I gazed to the horizon
To Cascade mountains
Wondering how long
They've been standing
How can we think we
Are so very imperative
When our existence to
Them is merely seconds
Think of the mountains
They seem so everlastin'
Yet where were they all
As universe was formin'
