Nature's facade, a beauty to behold,
Conceals the beast, as destruction unfolds.
The more we penetrate, the more we pay
For progress's price, in a world astray.

The great mother nourishes, yet takes away;
Penalties for wounds, inflicted day by day.
Trees felled, tunnels bored, skyscrapers high,
A boom of development, as the earth cries.

Rebellion brews, as nature's balance shifts;
Growth turns to decay, as destruction gifts
A warning sign, a call to mend,
The dance of death, a devil's trend.

Now man awakens, to nature's design;
A lesson learned, in a world redefined.
Destruction's toll, a price to pay,
For peace, we yearn, in a world gone astray.
