Masks Off

You are born with another mind

That you must learn to dance against

Do that or I do fear you'll find

A wide view on whatever's best

You must learn with your second mind

To find room for your soul to rest

Find pity for those walking blind

And tell your mind your brain knows best

You're walking with another mind

And you are lost just like the rest

The overthinking daily grind

Of fear has never been adressed

With many dreams just left behind

A pain you hid into your chest

A thousand ways to be unkind

Thousands excuses to be best

You must have had another mind

To do the things you thought were best

There's things I would pardon the blind

There are still things to be confessed

Find truth like you found peace of mind

And decide what is to be blessed

Take off with your beautiful find

Then learn to not resist arrest
