A Dream of Noon

A dream passed by this noon

you wandered like a butterfly,

touching as softly as

winding caress on a early bloom.

The warmth you left behind

was like the first sunray,

kissing dew grass.

Your eyes held a promise

to find me

in the depth of the sea.

The feeling, overwhelming

filled me with ecstasy,

until I fell from the cliff

and woke.

It was a dream.

A dream of noon.
