****** poisons the body
Hatred poisons the soul
Thoughts often poison the mind
and swallow it whole
leaving a cavity filled with
remnants of a person that
on the outside is marred by
self-inflicted marks that won’t
wash away with the tide
like shapes scraped
into the sand
