Reveries like
Fireworks
That don’t feel as spectacular

What if I
Roamed this planet
Alone in my mind
Made all the rules

The pinholes
Light couldn’t penetrate
Yesterdays episodes drenched
Me in
There terrors

Lived for anyone
But me  
Today’s a little easier
To flow

Still that little nagging
Voice stirs
Up trouble in the shadows

Steadily I am
Dredging my shores
