and just like that you were gone
  the good light dimming
    as it sank below
     the horizon of life
   and slowly slipped
    to the secret places
      only known to moonlight
        and butterflies
and its true... our hearts
  are heavy with grief
   but we are fortunate
    that you gave us
     so much to love
       that you gave us

that even though our hearts
   are heavy with the news today
we can take comfort in knowing
   that your memory
    and everything
you gave to us in your life
