21h
I met you in a mirror,
a flicker from another flame,
a thunder in my silence,
but never one to claim.

We spun beneath the cosmos,
two shadows on the floor,
you taught me to remember,
what I had been before.

You called me through the fire,
then vanished in the mist,
your love was never cruel,
just not the one I kissed.

I gave, I burned, I shattered,
I rose with every ache.
You left me not with promises,
but truth I had to make.

Now I walk without your echo,
my name no longer yours.
The grief has bloomed to gratitude,
the closing of old doors.

And still I feel the wonder,
not longing, not regret.
A soft and golden memory
that time will not forget.

But this is not my ending.
No tether, no remains.
One more bow before the stars,
the dancing in the wonder
Always remains.
