The day i saw you is the day i turn 52,
I was walking around the town when an old store playing vintage music, where you sang a melody that throw me back to when I was 18.

The man said, "aah.. this is beautiful" with a champagne on his hand.

I stare from outside the window, my hands getting old,  and my body's no longer as strong as it used to. But I remember being in your arm that night.

Forehead kisses, an applause from a man,  I saw you singing the song. wholeheartedly proud to call you mine.

But now you're wherever my hand cant reach, I remember when I was young I thought forever was something, that I no longer fear about this life because I got you.

The land I stand in now, was the land I never thought i'll get to step without your footstep beside me. I moved on, im sure.

But sometimes I wonder, where do all the hopes go, and when did we start losing ourselves when we're with each other?
