Jul 9
Fog chokes the oxygen out of the room
Insomnia screams in my ear canal
Disruptions at the bewitching hour
The veil is low as divination climbs in
Spiritual carnage, invisible warfare
As angels & demons coerce the human landscape
Early mornings portraits of you
The rise and fall of the chest
Irises dilated inside the nesting cocoon
Animal faces echo at morning break
I hear as a fly's solitary wings pulse
Mimicking a heartbeat, reverberate
Open embrace of the celestial void
Fear is a door in the heart
