Longing for the Bittersweet
My heart whispers a silent plea,
Into the sky, I look for hints
I look above, remorseful
I wished upon the brightest star
Teemed with sweet love
The sweetest thing,
Eat too much,the bitterness dawns
Even so, I still wished
Upon a star.
The sun rose above the horizon,
Looking down at the ground, I remind myself
The nearness of the pleasant aroma,
Bringing me desperation
Another day goes by,
I feel my limbs falling off, one by one
I see it everywhere, it engulfed me
I long for the sweetness
I found myself, by my side,
Its presence, torn apart,
Piece by piece, I pick them up
Placing them at the back of my head
I isolate my mind,
Nothing makes sense anymore
The brightest stars, of course
Will soon disappear into the sky.
