Did waking on a wave feel too
Hectic?
Yet you dreamt of the sea

I want to carry you into the water, to the
Edge
There we’ll leap off the Earth

I wish you were here to
Rejoice!
For we have been set free

There’s every reason to celebrate, to
Revel
Lay yourself in my hands

Lay yourself between the lines of my palms, to
Travel
You won’t fall asleep

Restlessness will reign until the
Land of Waves
In the water, you will sleep deeply

Little maple trees on the path to
Earth
Water will rock you like a womb

Count the waves, my child
Feel the salt on your skin
The cool winds
At the threshold of the Earth

Smell the salt, my child
Paint the waves
Speak words made of wind
At the treshold of the Earth
The Treshold of the Earth
