"Let the heavens crash down upon my body
Or the earth open up to swallow me whole
For here I stand, a proud challenger of the crushing might
The sole warrior amidst the deafening storm"

The clouds gather and swirl, the thunder rumbles
The wrathful roars of the enraged gods
How dare a mere mortal rebel against their authority?

They point their scepters at the reckless worm
Till his armor cracks and crumbles
And the sword breaks into halves

Now this wounded hero slump on the ground
His bleeding hands struggling feebly
For broken weapons just out of reach

The gale whispers a lullaby of eternal sleep
The rain caresses his face, soothing, paralyzing
The gods now command submission

"The heavens shall supress all opposition
The terra shall grind all inferior to dust
Yet my spirit shall arise beyond the corporeal destruction
for I still defy you, the beings on the thrones of might"

"So let the waves growl, and the storm rage
Heed not the wails from the wind and the rain
May the earth open up to swallow me whole
Let the heavens crash down upon my body"
