We watch our hands get tied— And we don’t make a move, Because hope doesn’t flicker, Even if we do.
This world is too cold, Too unkind to keep love. Instead of letting it be bold, We display it like it’s sold.
Today, some of us have locked our doors, Just so we don’t open our hearts again. It may seem strong... But it’s tragic—because we’re afraid to try again.
