Take a Sad Song and...
The words more precious
Than we knew
Now cast glances
At me and you.
Melodies through out our life
Now define our aging strife.
Endearing tunes we wished upon
Are sometimes far
But never gone.
With each year
That passes by
We'll carry that weight
And sometimes cry.
But every note and every letter
Shows us sad songs
Can make it better.
