Leaves are drifting far away,
Through the breeze, I send each petal today.
A bloom not yet withered or torn,
A branch still lush, fresh and adorned.

Oh wind, just keep on your flight,
To carry my kisses in soft twilight,
The scent of petals on you shall glide,
With tears I send that I cannot hide.

The jasmine flower with fragrant grace,
The sweet breeze keeps its endless pace.
Oh wind! Have you delivered yet
The longing I hoped you'd not forget?

Wind, oh wind! Why no reply?
Dreams and tears still linger, why?
Why are you so cold, so still?
Just send this to them — is that too much to will?

The petals have wilted in your trail,
Their scent now mixed with earthly veil.
I know, dear wind, you did your part…
But the one I love never opened their heart.
I wrote this poem to send to someone...
