oh my darling mister i can feel you in my veins when you’re pumping from my heart you’ve stained yourself on my brain with your enchanting wine art and i’m your intoxicated muse trying to play the part
just like your wine stains, it won’t go away cherry and blueberry, oh my, i’m mesmerized of your maroon way the way you color me in a world of champagne
and darling, may i write a book about you? spill you out on every page? to make you make you last forever this way just like your wine in all your different shades and rhyme with pain of your cry and rhyme with joy of your smile
just like a wine stain, it won’t go away cherry and blueberry, oh my, i’m mesmerized of your maroon way the way you color me in a world of champagne
and i’ve never told you about my poetry, my icy mister, my dreamy sophister, you’ll live on forever, immortality on my pages, and though we may never see the day the angels would engage us, i’ll forever be stained by your maroon way, forever painted by your wine stains
