Stories & Statements #25 (Flash in the pan)
Brief brief!
The clock is a thief
it takes and it takes
all your days, minutes, weeks!
Last I remember
I was still just a boy
playing on swings
and screaming for joy
Now work and bill paying
fills my day, noon & night
grey hairs and back aches
fill my mind up with fright
So....
PLEASE
don't be wasteful
heed this message, dear friends
enjoy life to the fullest
from beginning to end
Brief brief!
The clock is a thief
so don't live with regrets
....
let them go...
...
See?
...
Relief ;-)
