I Bid You Farewell
I bid you farewell, my dearest friend
So very sorry it all had to end
(I don't know who I am anymore)
I'm leaving you today
To keep it all at bay
If you see me, don't say hello
(I don't know who you are anymore)
I'll journey long, singing a song
Of what I'll hope to find
I'll breathe the air
And no one'll dare
To remind me of what I left behind
I'll remember you in fondness, I suppose
But don't expect much more
(I don't know who we are anymore)
