Grey days melt sideways --
constantly overlapping, calculating and deriving,
integrating and balancing chemical equations,
tell the teachers I am chasing dreams with cold numbers,
lines on the page or Lego blocks.
If you added every one together ad infinitum
it would be zero. Doesn't that say so much? Or enough?
Midnight brings music and words, I bury my mind
in their useless and beautiful noises.
