Lilac and lily’s
Encroaching on the city
Moss and leaves
Spreading beyond the trees
Rain and rivers
Sprouting hills like blisters
And in the center
Came a rose
With room to grow
A lack of competition I suppose
Then fell the snow
Finally thorns began to show
