Misguided choices, dead-end fate
No amount of cleaning can erase the weight
Of actions taken, consequences born
A solo journey, left to face the morn

Life's better shared, with love's gentle hand
But fleeting lust can leave a hollow stand
Regret and sorrow, a messy stain
Hard to clean, a lingering pain

In the tub of life, we slip and slide
A soap ring circle, hard to hide
The truth of our deeds, a heart's deep sigh
A lesson learned, as we wonder why
