the beach

I walked along the train tracks they lead me to a beach where the sand slipped right through my fingers and flashes of an hourglass tipping flooded through my mind as I sat on the beach the waves hit my toes and all I could do was smile because in this moment the earth and I became one and I knew that in the end I was exactly where I wanted to be. on the beach, feeling the wind and the sand beneath me...............
