I said goodbye, still waving goodbye,
Watching the steps you're leaving behind,
My hands are trembling, I whisper why,
The day has come, no words I find.

Like a falling rain, the tears I cry,
Would you stay here, don't you mind?
If you turned back, if you gave it a try,
To see the memories you left to remind.

Our dreams were castles in the sky
As a heavenly kingdom, the stars aligned
No one dared look or be there so high
Was that all a truth you’ve just denied?
This poem is dedicated to the nine beloved children of Dr. Alaa Alnajar — innocent lives lost in Palestine. It is a mother’s silent cry, a tribute to love, loss, and the pain of goodbye.

🕊️ May their memory be eternal. May the world never forget.
