Dear Miracle,
You didn’t plan to write,
Not like this.
Not with memory playing hide and seek,
or your voice relearning how to speak.

But here you are.
Writing your way through heartbreak,
through grief,
through healing,
through hope.

You ask what makes a poetess?
She listens where others rush.
She turns silence into language.
She doesn’t wait for applause.
She writes to breathe, to remember, to survive.
She becomes...word by word.

And a writer?
A writer is not made by titles or timelines.
A writer is someone who writes.
Even when no one is looking.
Even when the page is the only one listening.

So look at you now,
Not just writing poems.
But becoming one.
You are the poem.
You are the writer.
You are the poetess.
You are the miracle unfolding.
Speak it.
Live it.
Believe it.
With grace,

Miraculous

This poem is a letter from the brave version of me (Miraculous) to the part that doubted (Miracle). It was written before I fully embraced sharing my work with the world. It’s a reminder that my words—and my journey—have purpose.
Inspiration:
Inspired by my journey of healing and remembering not just how to write again, but how to own my voice, even before I felt ready to share it with others.
