It isn't a surprise that I’m leaving
So stop acting like you know me.

“If you had your last dime, would you give it to the one you love?”
I want to offer you something big enough to build and end dreams.

But I can only give you an apology
Cause Papa died and the little Bee ran away
And those I didn't push out couldn't reach me in time
So when you called my name you became mine.

Papa died but then you called my name
You called my name and I can't move.
Stuck with you, crying on the phone
Can't move, I can't touch you!

“I'm just stuck with you on the phone.”

Crying on the phone but you didn't hear me
Cause you filled the silence with your stories so I don't leave.
When you turn and look at me,
I wanna yell that you're wrong.

That my heart was never really yours.
But I can't speak, can't move,

I can't breathe.
Cause you called out my name.

Papa died and you call out my name
Your words held me.
But I’ve stopped apologising to Papa at night.
And I’ve found the little Bee and she's shining really bright.

Yet when you look at me I can’t move.

“You see, that's the problem with you.”
