I remembered her,
every time I breathed,
and I feel you every time I breathe.

***** smoke,
that fills my chest,
and doesn't let me feel my soul,
or my feelings.

I desired her in silence,
and my heart wants to go out and find you,
desperately in the streets,
like an addict who can't find his fix.

I tasted her in every kiss,
that fresh cherry flavor,
contaminated by my tarry breath.

She hurt me, broke my heart,
took me to the divine heavens,
you hurt me, put me in a hospital,
and you're going to take me underground.

My mind cries for peace,
my soul for respite,
in this toxic relationship they'll never have it.

You were poison disguised as nectar,
I thought you were comfort,
but you were wound.
I thought you were the cure,
and you were the poison.
