An Eastbound Storm

While I watch the lightning fade I could be there for you The danger blurs along the horizon We hold close a vision of oneness In a sudden calming of the sky There could be a place for you and I When the gusts of urgency melt Dispel the heat of life’s blood A new dawn could be birthed With a surge of pleasure We’d come to the precipice of pain And the stars would know we’ve crossed
