Forgive my attachment, it grips too tight,
My silly ways that spin in flight.
You fill my days with the suns radiant glow,
A warmth from you that makes my spirit flow.
Your laughter, your words heals, as if they were a soothing balm,
It revives my soul, restores my calm.
Your touch ignites, a blazing spark,
So fierce it starts a fire right in the dark.
My love for you runs deep and wide,
A rushing tide which I cannot hide.
Just to steal a beat, added with fleeting rhyme,
To stand with you Ray—in forever’s time.
