The glow of your smile
The warmth of your body against mine
A bright white room on a nice summer day
So serene
We hold a conversation with a simple stare
And in the softest words ever muttered
You ask me if we'll work this time...

I wake up
Deep breath in
Slow exhale out
Then a smile
We'll never work.
