Nov 2013
Heart beat, repeat.
Nothing around but the sound of music in the background.
Such a shame, no one to blame.
No one to be found, not even crickets make a sound.
My shadow's even gone, its been way too long.
These dreary nights spent alone, waiting for your reply by the phone.
All I have is your memory, here in my mental registry.
I still remember when we danced, even though you said its way to fast.
I'll try not to let go, no matter how hard you throw.
But alas it's just me, and my memory.
One I can not erase, nor can I replace.
Wouldn't want to, even if I could do.
