Stay here, I don't like being alone.
I feel like I'm being thrown into the unknown.
Without your presence, so deep in meaning—
Your eye contact is all I’m needing.

A language we speak, peak for peak,
That no one else gets, yet it’s what we seek.
A glare? A scan? A code we understand.
So stay—don’t go—but we can’t take more.

Hospital bed. A soul is dead.
Where did you go? Why was I left instead—
Living, but dead.
why did you leave me living but dead.
