I see her by the shore,
Looking into the sky.
Pure to the core,
As evening drifts by.

Her thoughts, like the water,
Calm until it's time,
A dream she could not alter,
Held within her mind.

I watch her as she stays,
Admiring her silent grace.
Lost in her mystic ways,
I find no hiding place.

She beckons for my hand,
As I stumble to her feet.
I almost could not stand,
Her heart a quiet beat.

She wore a love for souls,
But held it like a weight.
A mind both sharp and scared,
Waiting for its fate.

Her beauty ran beyond the sea,
With the words she spoke none.
In silence, as she fled to leave,
A love l'd just begun.

I saw her by the shore,
She looked into the sky.
She was pure to the core,
Now that evening drifted by.
