The Silence We Share
Tell me why is it so-
That you act differently when you see me.
I thought we were tied like a bow
Now your eyes don't light up the same,
and your voice forgot my name.
You walk past like I'm just air,
like all we had was never there.
I think it's not fair-
All that I did for you-
And you treat me like -
I was never there.
So I'll stop reaching out in the dark,
stop waiting for a fading spark.
Now silence is the only thing we share.
