I can see it plain as day
The lust in your eyes.
I can see the way you long for me
Hands gliding up my thighs.
I know you crave my touch
even when you back away.
When you strike, you don't hold back.
And you think that I'm surprised -
But I saw it coming, plain as day.

What I can't see is why you're hiding
that what you feel is so much more.
You never did let go of me,
Nor did I of you.
I love you still, like I did before,
and you see it plain as day.
I'll spend forever waiting
for you to just confess
all the things you'll never say.
