I sank my soul in the salt of sea. The sea spit it back to me. The wind would not take it, the air let it be. Then I saw it ...the live thing at the edge of the sea. The sea licked it clean till it could stare at me. The soul looked up from the slime to be free. We pour out our sweat and our seed. In time lie down and finally just be. Nothing has changed not you or me. The dead old world is full of decay. The telephone rings and rings away. Dark hell is the number written on the wall. I wrote it there when I was small. My savage heart cries out to what? All is gone and turned to dust. I saw the corpse when they took it away. Now, my soul has no where to stay.
