Life can wound you deeply
Weight of unspoken pain
You build up walls around you
Them walls may still remain.

Suffering doesn't have to be a sentence
Got to see beyond your own hurt
Drop all the heavy baggage
that's dragging you through the dirt

Forgiveness breaks the cycle
Hope isn't found in revenge
Life it really isn't easy
But I know that you can mend

Within the knowing
A fierce strength lives
The will to just keep fighting
It's how you have survived

Through it all
Even after every fall
You still stand
Stand tall.

Because even in the darkness
there's always a revealing glow
You just have to see it
It's then you will regrow.
