A drop of wetness
Kisses the rose petal,
The tension of liquid
Forming the globulous shape

As it swims across to the edge,
The crimson blanket lifts-
A sphere of perfect clarity
Up into the air

Soon followed others
Just like shiny diamonds,
Dancing across, and through
The red scented allure

Only when it reaches
The brown muddy earth
Does the soil know
Of the sorrowful salt
