crossing a traffic light
down intersection
buried in a ravine
leaning against the Valley hospital window
looking down
gray
black
brown
No matter how price money
cars are waiting
at a red light
after a while
cars are moving
time is running again
darkness falls
Night comes
lights come on
following the enduring sadness
unable to work
the day will come someday
While thinking
I turn away.
